Focus: Triathlon Training for athletes of all abilities

Athletes will be training on Seneca Lake in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate NY. The camp is for the beginner to experienced triathlete. You'll experience scenic rolling roads for cycling, varied running trails throughout the property, heated pool and open water swimming on Seneca Lake. Our 200 acres provide the perfect location for a multi-sport workout.

Although athletes will be busy training and learning, there will also be "fun" time including a wine and cheese meet and greet.

THE GOAL:
Our goal is to provide multi-faceted triathlon training that is educational, inspirational, and FUN! We will offer athletes an opportunity to challenge themselves and log 'real outdoor' miles in all three disciplines led by experienced coaches. This is the no frills camp, all about mileage, a beautiful area, challenging rides, coaching on the road and full support along the way.

This is the perfect camp for the triathlete looking to learn from professional coaches, get a fitness and inspirational boost, and enjoy warm days and crisp nights on the lake. A late summer training camp in warm weather provides the perfect opportunity to improve your technical skill set in all three of triathlon's disciplines.

WHAT TO BRING:
General Clothing: the Finger Lakes area is cool in the morning and evening hours and pleasant during the day. Sweaters and jackets are recommended.

Swimming: Goggles, swim suit(s), wet suit (we also have rental suits)

Cycling: Lightweight vest/jackets, booties, gloves, short and long cycling pants, bike, helmet

Bedding: Cabins contain twin beds. Please bring your own pillow, sheets and blankets/and or sleeping bag, towels, toiletries.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE:
We recommend you arrive between 2 and 4 pm on Sunday. The conclusion of the camp will be 5 pm on Tuesday.

About Doug Bush ...
Doug has a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science with a concentration in Sports Nutrition from the University of Buffalo.

As part of his education he has had the opportunity to work at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. While at the training center he helped with the daily coaching duties of USA Triathlon's resident team. These athletes are the United States Olympic hopefuls funded by USA Triathlon.
Doug has been coaching endurance sports athletes for 10 years and personally been involved in endurance sports for 20 years as a cyclist, runner, and triathlete. He has completed eight Ironman triathlons, including the World Championships in Kona, numerous marathons, and countless mountain bike, road bike, and other running races. Experienced in coaching athletes of all ability levels from people looking to finish their first 5K to athletes qualifying for the Ironman World Championships.
Doug is founder and Head Coach of endurancefactor.com, an organization that specializes in helping endurance athletes of all levels reach their goals through the development of customized coaching programs.
